I pulled both wing skins off the wing jig after marking a few more of the countersunk holes on the spar flange for a little more depth.
Both skins needed the edges deburred and smoothed. I thought I had done that earlier when I deburred and dimpled but apparently not. I worked each edge with the succession of: file, double sided debur tool, fine permagrit block, and finally a small scotchbrite wheel in the pneumatic die grinder.
The scarf joint needed more work as well. I went at that in pretty much the same way. Hopefully it will be enough as I didn’t fit check it afterwards. I’m on the path to priming these things now.
Finally I hauled the main skins and the wing walk doubler skin out to the driveway to scrub them with detergent and then metal prep. After they dry out I can prime them.
