I got the replacement z brackets and tie down rings from Vans. I screwed a tie down ring into each hole without any adjustments to the hole size or location. It fits pretty well on both sides. One issue is that I cannot screw them in all the way. The threaded end is longer than the hole I tapped. Couple options: re-tap to a greater depth, or cut/grind off about a quarter inch. I guess I’ll think about it. It looks like it needs a grommet or something also. I’ll do some research on this. With the new z brackets I drilled the three bolt holes for the interface to the spar. All 14 brackets are located now. Plate nuts are next.
