I clecoed on the access hole doubler. I then match drilled the 16 attach holes #40 for eventual flush riveting. I also drilled out the plate nut rivet attach holes per the stall warning plans. I then deburred and edge finished the doubler. I did not dimple anything yet. I then got out the template and tried to cleco it onto the skin. It did not fit very well and I eventually figured out that I didn’t need it. The purpose of the template appears to be for locating the stall vane slot in the leading edge and maybe the stall mechanism support rib holes in a retrofit installation. My LE skin has the rib holes and stall vane slot holes pre punched. This may be an indication of just how sharp I am. I then picked out the proper stall mechanism support rib (the kit provides both a RV7/8 rib and a RV9 rib). I edge finished the rib and clecoed it on to the skin. I should probably check the flange angle and flute if required also.
