Finally got started! After inventorying the empennage kit back in January it has been a lot of shop preparation and practice, but no airplane parts. Collected the HS rear spar channels (HS603xx), and web stiffeners (HS609PP). I forgot that the HS609PP’s were still taped to the bottom on the shipping box, so it took awhile to find them in order to get started. After some quality time with the scotchbrite wheel it was looking pretty good, but more time is needed to get all the scratches and part marks removed. I used a circle template to mark the 603PP radius ends.
