Brief Description:  Static balancing

Placed the digital level on the pop cans on the head and added weight out at the tip of blade 2 until level. Weighed the three nuts and washer that were needed to balance and found them to be 13.2 grams.

Removed the end plug and tip weight from blade 1 and drilled a 7/32 hole near the outboard end then started opening up the hole with the step drill, weighing often. Stopped after removing 10 grams, loosely reinstalled the weight and end plug then checked the balance again. Found it still needed 1 nut to balance which weighed 3.5 grams.

Removed the tip weight again and continued enlarging the hole up to 1/2" which brought the weight down from its original 351.5 to 338.6 grams. Installed everything again and checked the balance and it's very close, within .5 gram.

Called it a night, I may take the weight out again tomorrow and remove another .3 - .5 gram but it may be close enough considering there is probably some measurement error.
