Brief Description:  Rotor head, pitch links

Finished centering the drive pin in the rotor head and installed the clips and bolts in the ends.

Hung a plumb line from a long bolt threaded into the end of the drive pin to align the rotating portion of the swash plate with the rotor head. Positioned the swash plate locking collars about 1/32" above the swash plate slider at full collective and tightened them making sure there is no binding. I still need to add loctite to the collar bolts and final torque

Prick punched the swash to grip pitch links so they can be kept with their associated blade.

Installed the rod ends on the blade grips and torqued the bolts to 6.5 ft/lbs per the instructions. This required using a flat bar against the flats of the nut to prevent it turning in the pocket. Torque striped the nuts then realized I had failed to check the prick punch marks on the rod ends before installing, 50/50 chance, and of course they were reversed. Removed them and started over with new lock nuts.

Installed the rest of the pitch links and adjusted them to give 1.5 degrees of negative pitch at the blade grips with full down collective.
