Made up and installed a ground strap from the left battery to the frame at the tail shaft hangar.
Attached the plugs to the exciter and the start fuel solenoid, routed the wires together on top of the engine where I ran the two ground wires into one ring terminal and attached it to one of the starter bolts. Ran the two hot wires into a knife disconnect and installed a mating connector on a single 14 gauge wire that runs up to the momentary switch on the front of the seat.
Used expandable plastic sleeving on the wire pairs to keep them together and help protect them from chaffing.
