Brief Description:  Engine RPM sensor, Battery wiring, First starter s

Soldered two 2 conductor shielded wires to the right angle connector for the engine RPM dual output sensor, the short 18 gauge will feed the governor and the longer 24 gauge will feed the digital tach in the panel. Assembled the case and installed the strain relief and connected the plug to the sensor on the engine.

Crimped and soldered terminal ends onto some of the 6 gauge battery wire and temporarily attached to the starter and ground. Attached the digital tach and oil pressure gauge with jumpers to their associated sensors. Engaged the starter for a few seconds to spin the engine up and watch the gauges. The oil pressure came up to about 20 psi after about 3 seconds on the starter but the digital tach never came off of 0 RPM, swapped the sensor wire to the tach and spun up again but still zero RPM. I suspect the sensor is not adjusted close enough to the ring in the engine but will double check the wiring and talk to the factory before making any adjustments.

Spun the engine up a third time with the oil tank cap removed to verify that oil is being returned to the tank by the scavenge pumps.
