After drilling the holes in the new mixer in the shop it was time to see if my drilling process was accurate back at the hangar. Luckily the holes all lined up and fit nice and tight so I went to work mounting the various mixer parts.
The new mixer came with four beveled washers that have to fit tight on either side of the ball ends to give the bolt something to tighten down on rather than bending the aluminum ears. The washers were real close to the proper thickness and only required some light filing on a couple of them for a nice tight fit that would stay in place with the bolt removed.
Installed the mixer in the helicopter and got all the links in place, just need to final torque the bolts and safety wire the pitch link bolt.
