Brief Description:  Collective friction

Installed the collective friction slider.

Started out by match drilling the slider base with the aluminum backer plate for #8 screws. Cut one ear off of four nut plates and riveted them to the backer plate.

Attached the slider to the collective and found the mounting location that centered the total travel in the slider slot. Marked then drilled the holes through the fiberglass seat pan.

Installed the four #8 screws and final tightened. Tested operation and add a little grease in the slider slot where it slides past the tensioner bolt.

Final installed the AN3 bolt and locking nut that attaches the slider to the collective tube using a thin washer under the bolt head and nut and a thick washer between the slider and the welded tab on the tube to give it the best alignment with the slider travel.

Real happy with the look and function.
