Brief Description:  Cyclic travel

Set the seat pan in place to check clearance on the cyclic stick and to determine full down position for the collective.

Fore and aft stick travel has plenty of clearance in the seat pan opening with max travel at the swash of 7.8 deg. aft, 7.5 forward. L/R travel had the stick hitting the opening at 7.0 right, 7.7 left. I noticed that the cyclic hole in the seat pan was not quite round on the right side which was part of the reduced travel to that side so I used the sanding drum to remove the flat spot and round out the hole.

The instructions say to let the ball link at the front of the cyclic tube rotate on its threads to achieve the full travel required but I would prefer to have the ball link to the turning rather than the threads if possible. I used tapered spacers either side of the ball instead of plain washers as the plans call for and beveled the outer corners of the link slightly to get maximum rotation but it still hits the spacers with the swash at 6.4 deg. L and R. The plans only call for 6 deg. tilt on the swash so this may be enough.
