Brief Description: Tail drive shaft, Main shaft plug
Bruce helped knurl the two center carrier bearing bushings to bring their diameter up by about .008" so they are a snug fit in the replacment center tube I got from Eagle R&D which was slightly larger than the original. After getting a nice fit on the tube I double checked the length and drilled the 4 holes that attach the tube to the bearings. This completes the tail drive shaft except for setting the overall alignment and painting the tubes.
Turned 2 O-ring grooves in the main shaft cross pin retaining plug. This will seal the top of the main rotor shaft from the elements rather than epoxying in a wood plug as the plans call for. Also inserted a rubber stopper in the bottom hole in the plug to seal it off, this will get CA'd to make sure it doesn't work its way out and cut off flush.
