Brief Description:  Seat pan, engine alignment

Hauled the seat pan and inst. pod to the painter to be painted Toyota Magnetic Gray Metallic. The instrument pod will be finished with a flat clear to reduce glare on the inside of the windshield.

Spent a couple hours aligning the engine in the frame. Used the digital level and straight edges to compare the trans pulley with the engine pulley. Had to shorten the threads on the ball link ends of the left mount by 5/32" each so the rear of the engine could be raised higher. The rear of the engine needs to come slightly to the right so I will need to remove one washer from the right side mount and see if that is enough or too much. The bottom pulley is currently .3 degrees high at the front compared to the trans pulley with the clutch engaged. However, I have not set the clutch tension yet so that may change as the clutch is adjusted to the correct spec of 35 lbs of pull as the clutch arm goes over center. Otherwise I'll need to raise the rear of the engine slightly to get the pulleys aligned.
