I came up with the idea to use a push connect fitting on the top of the oil tank cap for connecting the vent line so that I could more easily remove the cap and because it makes a tidy, compact install. Found a 1/8" NPT to 1/4" 90 degree that was a perfect fit and just had to enlarge and tap the hole I already had in the cap.
I decided to shorten the lateral clutch to frame brace by a few threads because with it as short as it will adjust, it is still pushing the clutch mechanism to the left of center which is placing a slight side load on the mounting ear on the bottom of the transmission.
