Brief Description:  Tail drive shaft, collective friction

Turned a step down on two fender washers to go between the tail slider and scissor arms. This allows a wider surface against the scissor arm with a smaller radius to seat against the flat machined on the slider without using two seperate washers that would be too thick.

My kit was missing one of the friction discs for the collective friction so I used the spare bushing disc from the pedal scissor pivot that I didn't need because I have a bearing installed instead of the plastic bushings. Turned down the diameter to match the other disc then fabrictaed a bushing for the 1/4" hole to bring it down to 3/16' to match the other disc and the friction knob bolt.

Drove the 3/16 bolt into the friction knob. The hole in the knob is slightly smaller than the head of the bolt and it gets drive/pressed into place so it can't turn.

Started measuring the tail drive shaft sections for cutting to length. Need to twist the front carrier bearing mount slightly so it is square to the shaft.
