Brief Description:  Leak test, Trans oil

Filled top tank with 6.9 gallons of gasoline and left set for around an hour with no leaks detected. Drained the tank and put the gas in my truck. Put about a quart of gas in the left tank and sloshed it to rinse out any water that was left from testing the sumps I installed.

Put 1.5 qts of oil in the main trans which brought it just below half way up the sight window. Loosened the highest oil fitting (which feeds the top bearing) and then turned the transmission by hand to pump oil through the cooler coils and fill the filter housing until oil was see at the open, top fitting.

Re-attached the fitting and hand cranked the trans a bit more to make sure everything is well lubricated.

After all the cranking, the oil level is almost down to the bottom of the window.
