Drilled, counter sunk and riveted a 3/16" nut plate to the back side of the collective friction. It is now ready for paint or powder.
Swabbed out and vacuumed the interior of the main shaft to clean it. Applied a coat of grease to the inside of of the main shaft then inserted the o-ringed plug into the top.
Installed all three tail driveshaft segments and checked overall straightness. Both carrier bearing mounts needed to have the holes ovaled to the right slightly to allow proper L/R alignment. The drive shaft tubes are now ready for paint then final installation and alignment can occur, then two small locating holes will be drilled through each carrier bearing mount and plates to hold that position.
