Brief Description:  Windshield, gear spread

Installed all of the windshield screws using the .030 thick nylon washers I just got from McMaster. The first washers I got were about .060 and made some of the screws too short where the fiberglass is thicker.

Used double sided tape on my finger tip to get a few of the nuts in place up near the nose. Tightened the screws just to where they were snug but not tight so the plexiglass isn't flexed around the hole and the windshield can move around a little as it heats and expands.

Checked the distance between the gear skids at the front and rear hoops. I was talking to the check pilot at the heli meet I attended a couple weeks ago and he said they should only be about an inch wider at the rear hoop and mine is right at an inch. I'm not sure if this measurement is to be made at empty weight or loaded so I may still have to adjust it a little by tightening the cable brace on the rear hoop.
