Brief Description: Pedal plugs, filter vent, Left cabin half
Turned some aluminum plugs for the open ends of the pedal tubes, jeweled them and pressed them in. Installed the pedals.
Turned an adapter to replace the vent plug in the Racor filter/separator which allowed me to install a push drain so I can easily vent air trapped in the top of the filter housing. The plug was a straight 3/8 fine thread sealed with an o-ring. Used a die to cut the threads on the aluminum adapter then tapped the other end to accept the 1/8" NPT drain valve. Installed the drain valve with sealant paste then lightly torqued the assembly into the filter housing and marked with torque seal.
Cleaned then installed the left side cabin half onto the seat pan in preparation for laying out the paint lines and to check areas that need additional trimming now that all the wires and hoses are in place.
