Brief Description:  Heat shield, rotor supports, N-number

Bent 90 angle in heat shield on the brake at work but the tight bend caused the .040 aluminum to fracture in places so I will probably rivet one three angle doublers near each end and the center to prevent it from breaking further with vibration. Once at the hangar, I fit the shield to the bottom of the battery box and drilled for two AN3 bolts to mount it.

I purchased some 3/16" cord and used it to make an adjustable anchor to position the front blade support at the right height for installing/removing the blade.

Had the 2" EXPERIMENTAL placard cut in white vinyl oriented vertically and I plan to place it on the left side of the seat back.

Cut a sample 3" N-number from some red vinyl that is a close match to the paint. Stuck it on the side of the cabin to try to determine the best location and angle and decide on the font and color.

Removed the blade supports and did a preliminary balance with the digital level on the head. Found that blade 2 needs three AN4 lock nuts at the tip to balance. I need to level the mast side to side and adjust the blade lead/lag before I can do an accurate static balance.
