I had installed a set of LED strobes behind the chin window previously and decided that for the cost and low power draw it would be worth installing a side facing set for improved visibility.
Riveted 1/2" aluminum straps to the back of the lights then drilled and tapped 8-32 holes in the back of the battery boxes. Final installed the strobes using loctite on the screws.
Secured the small control box to the inside of the right battery box and wired to the switched side of the master disconnect with a 1 amp fuse in line.
