Brief Description: Anti-torque pedals, Foot well carpet
After test fitting the adjustable anti-torque pedals and seeing how close they come to the inside of the cabin at full travel I decided to shorten the tube behind the pedal by 3/4", which I will do tomorrow on the band saw, or lathe if possible.
Purchased a black carpet door mat which has a rubberized backing but is pretty thin and light. Made a template of the right floor well from some heavy paper then used the template with a straight edge and razor blade to cut the mat material. Flipped the template over to cut the left side carpeting. Checked the fit and trimmed slightly as needed with some heavy scissors. Passed the edges over the propane heater to melt the loose fibers and clean up the edges. I will apply a few strips of Velcro to the bottom side to hold these in place but allow easy removal for cleaning.
