Applied one layer of glass cloth doubler to the outside of the front latch area on the left door frame and two layers to the inside to thicken and strengthen the area where the latch mounts. This allowed enough thickness to counter sink the screw heads and grind off one edge so they are flush with the frame.
Also cut down the latch screws and turned to proper length and tapered/rounded the tips of all three latch pins so they will more easily find the latch hole in the door sill.
