Brief Description: Parking Brake Valve Cable Part 1
I need to make a secure but out of the way spot for the parking brake cable. I was going to go for a place on the instrument panel, but opted for another spot. I decided to put the parking brake and the cabin heater control underneath, but still out of reach of the control sticks. I used a piece of 5053 AL angle. The front part was riveted to the bottom edge of the instrument panel, the edge close to the firewall gets a couple of brackets welded to the crossbar under the instrument panel. That way it will still have plenty of support.
