Today I finish welded the front bushings in place. I then moved to the back and drilled the holes for the rear bushings. I HATE drilling 1/2 inch holes in my fuselage! It truly is a one-shot deal for me. I took my time and the holes came out just perfect. It was enough of a slip fit the bushings stayed in place so I could tack them. Once the holes were drilled I cleaned them up and removed the bits of chips inside the crossstube.
