I got a bit more time in the shop and made one of the front legs using the same technique for the back leg. It's a little trickier because the tube is 5/8th dia and not much room for error. Once the leg was done, I cleaned it up in the bead blast cabinet and tried out one of the quick-release pins I got in the mail today. Fits great and will allow for easy in and out of the seat. They are Jergens Kwik-Lok 801017 Stainless Steel 17-4 PH heat treated with a shear strength of 9,200lbs. Plenty for the application.
