I took my conduit bender and made the slight dogleg bends in the seat backs like the factory seats have. Kevin DeShazer's plans are much more elaborate on the seat backs and are difficult to fabricate, so I stuck with what works. I am fortunate to have a set of factory seats to use as a guide.
These take an incredible amount of time to make and are surprisingly difficult to fabricate. It is a royal PITA to get those angle cuts at the bottom of the pivot point tubes and the seat backs the same and aligned. If I was to do it again, I would buy the seats from the Bearhawk Store and not mess with it. But, I’m in it this far and I’ll finish.
