Brief Description:  Front Seats Part 9

I got a chance to work on the BH a little more today. I got the 3/8ths washers welded to the ends of the seat bottom tubes. These are on the factory seats. I asked Mark G. why they were there and he didn't know!. He said it's something Jim Cleavenger did and they just carried it into production, so I did the same. I can see where it would help protect the ends of the tubing, so I went with it.

I jigged up the seat bottom parts and tacked them together. Since the left is a mirror image of the right, I made two the same way in the jig. The differences are only added on later. One more step forward. I have to admit, it’s hard spending time in the shop when the days are so beautiful outside and the fishing for red salmon is just getting hot!
