I was able to weld on the tubes that house the spring and plunger for the seat lock. After a session in the bead blaster I made a trial fit of the parts for the seat lock adjustment. It sticks a bit and needs tweaking, but it should work fine. I don’t want to put any grease into the mechanism until I have it welded in and painted.
