Brief Description:  Front Seats Part 3

It's good to get back on the Bearhawk after a number of days at my handyman business and being at the Alaska Trade Show with Bearhawk Aircraft.

I continued with the seat adjustment mechanism and made the form block for the mounts. I also drilled a .250 hole in the block to act as a drill guide for the seat lock pin hole. I made a copy of Wayne Massey's mount template and made the parts. I aslo cut the tubing for the pins and bought the compression springs from my local hardware store. Fortunately for me, Mark Goldberg had an orphan set of seat adjuster parts and brought them up from Texas when he came for the trade show. It saved a bunch of time not having to make all those fiddly little parts. Tomorrow I'll weld the tubes to the mounts, weld on the seat rail guides to the mounts and hopefully start on the seats.
