One thing I forgot to photograph was the leak testing of the fuel lines from the fuel tanks. Once the fabric is on, most of the aft fuel lines are covered up. So I capped the bottom drain and the forward lower tee fitting and slowly injected acetone into the fuel lines. I figured since the fabric glue was thinned with acetone that if I had a leak it wouldn’t damage any of the fabric already in place. It tested out fine, no leaks. Plus, the acetone is thinner than avgas…or at least about the same.
