Brief Description: EarthX Battery Box Modification Part 2
I split the box at an angle that somewhat matches the engine mount tube where I want the battery. I riveted some AL angle to the sides and used 10-32 nutplates for the AN3 bolts. Smaller fasteners would work just fine but I like having a hex head vs having to fuss with a phillips. I fit the box in place on the firewall and drilled all the mounting holes before I cut anything so the fit would still be very snug.
