As the weather cooperated I was able to work outside, otherwise it was making a mess in the shop. Atomized zinc chromate putty, paint, undercoating and the chemicals all made for a very nasty work environment. I put in a 1x2 along the back of the bulkheads to help stabilise the structure. If the keel bent or kinked in any way, I was hosed. It was like working on a wet noodle.
