Next step was to located some Cessna fittings that attach the vent tube to the LE of the wing. After patiently waiting I found these on ebay. They are NOS for an L-19 Bird Dog. I was able to get two of them for a very decent price. When I fit them they didn’t match the wing profile exactly. It rocked on the nose of the fitting. So after asking a metal guys (actually only Kent White) what to do I was able to carefully re-contour the nose so it fit perfectly in the LE. On to the next phase…
