This was one of those very frustrating jobs. I welded the pulley attach brackets a few years ago and now it’s time to make sure they were correct. Jim got the cable runs close, but I thought I could fine tune them a bit and make them align better with the pulleys. This is one of the few areas of the BH build where just good enough is good enough. Proper pulley/cable alignment here is just about impossible, so the best you can get is just that. There is no easy solution other than trial and error. The right side realignment was relatively easy, but the pilot’s side wasn’t as easy. With the help of files, a torch and LOTS of patience I finally got it to where it was the best I could get. Job done, time to move on.
