I decided I want some nice wing root vents, so over the years I have been collecting parts off of ebay that weren’t outrageously expensive. Now that the wings are off the wall it’s a great opportunity to cut the holes for the vents. Two items that are critical. Once is that the size and position are the same, plus the top edge is just above the chord line (as per BearTracks). Believe it or not, if the holes are not the same from side to side it will affect the stall characteristics of the wing! I made a template of the vent hole on some paper and I used the wing jig board to ensure the vent holes were the same position in both wings.
