Brief Description: Alternator Belt Adjustment and Safety Wire
One more thing to get done is to tighten the alternator belt, tighten the bolt that hold the alternator to the mount and safety wire everything. I read on Vans forum that drilling a hole in the bracket for safety wire on the top or bottom beam will invite a crack and possibly an electrical failure due to a broken bracket. The solution is to drill a hole in the very end. This bracket is very hard and I needed a really good drill bit and patience to get through. I did and I finished the other safety to the adjustment bracket itself.
