Brief Description: Firewall to Exhaust Tunnel Transition Part 3
The riveting was a bit time consuming even though I used SS pull rivets. Drilling the holes in the SS wasn’t too bad, but deburring the backside was a bit more difficult! Once that was done, I laid down some masking tape around the edge and started with the process. I used red Permatex RTV under the flange and mixed up some Pro Seal for the pull rivets. Once the part was set I used some MEK to help clean up a bit and it was finally done. One step closer!
