Brief Description: Firewall to Exhaust Tunnel Transition Part 1
Before I start working on the engine baffling I want to add a lip at the transition between the firewall and exhaust tunnel. I won’t go into detail here because there is so much info on the interwebs, but many from different build platforms have had success in helping airflow in the cowling by adding this lip to the transition. So, I decided to do the same. I have enough experience by now to at least make a part that would work. I used a bunch of AL scrap that I had to practice with techniques, bend radiuses etc to come up with a plan to make nice parts. I used .020 2024T3 to make the two pieces.
