The next and almost final step was to actually drill holes in my beloved intake scoop and install nutplates on the flanges. Again, not without challenges as the flanges and scoop have all sorts of curves in the geometry, but I finally got it done. I’m not a fan of the button-head screws, but I’ll get over it…eventually!
