Even with all my messing with the scoop and flanges I knew that after riveting them into place there would be some changes in geometry. I was right. It was slight, but just enough that the fit wasn’t where I wanted it to be. But, in the spirit of “perfection is the enemy of completion”, I declared victory and kept going.
