Brief Description: SlickSTART Module Mounting Part 1
Another task is to mount the SlickSTART to the firewall. Not many options, so I just made a backing plate similar to what I mounted the solenoids to. I bolted it all in place and…I didn’t like it. The top of the unit was like a tuning fork and moved around a LOT! Maybe if it had a hard mounting point it wouldn’t do that but I had limited choices as to how to mount the unit. Even so, engineers hate cantilevers!
