Brief Description: Vetterman Exhaust Mounts Part 1
I really didn’t know what I would do to support the exhaust. There are so many options out there, but the consensus is to try to keep the exhaust hangers attached to the engine, separate from any aircraft structure. That way the exhaust can wiggle with the engine, independent of any ridged structure. I looked a lot online and saw that Clint Busenitz at Vetterman had a mounting kit available. I called him and asked about one for the Bearhawk. He thought that my exhaust should have come with a mounting kit, but that was so long ago that I bought it (10 years!) apparently wasn’t done back then. So he sent me one. Now to figure out how to use it!
