Brief Description:  Prop Control Cable Bracket Part 1

The cables running forward for the mixture, prop and throttle all need some sort of bracket to hold them in place. None are available for my configuration, so off to fabrication land. First mount to tackle is the prop. Jim Harden’s helper Bron had already started on an idea, but they ent on to other projects before anything could be done. I didn’t like the cantilever and added the support. Since the support is extremely stable, I cut off the leg going forward to the front starter bolt. All the refinements took time, but I’m happy with the result. A U-shaped plate holds the cable to the bracket and the plate is secured in place with a couple 6-32 screws.
