Brief Description: Hanging the Engine Part 4 - Exhaust is Fixed!
Happy day! I got the exhaust back from Clint, so now is a good time to check the nosebowl fit and see if the exhaust clears the imaginary cowl line. I drilled and riveted in the nutplates that hold the two halves together. Once that was done I put the exhaust back on. Fit the nosebowl on the ring gear and put a straight edge on between the firewall and nosebowl. It fits with 1/2in to spare! My friend says that’s enough, so time to move on to the next task.
