Brief Description:  Hanging the Engine Part 3

Well, it’s come to a work stoppage for the elves. Bron took on the baffling and Jim with cable measurements, firewall pass-throughs, etc. In the meantime we had found the nosebowl fiberglass work to be mediocre at best. I never played with it, but the molded in cowling line was very crooked. It wasn’t even close. So, that’s two parts that have to be reworked before they can continue. The exhaust and the nosebowl. Bob Barrows wasn’t the supplier for the part, it was someone else. I have to say I would never buy another part from that vendor ever again. I called Bob and asked him how much for one of his nosebowls. He said $280 for the nosebowl and $140 for shipping. I had a pretty good idea how much work was needed to fix the existing part and almost ordered a new one from Bob. But I just couldn’t justify almost $500 additional expense for a replacement so I decided to fix what I had.
