Brief Description:  Hanging the Engine Part 2

Any work being done for the first time invariably comes with some challenges. In this case we fit the nosebowl and just did a quick check of the firewall/nosebowl line. Right side had plenty of clearance to the future cowling but the left side not so much. It was off by quite a bit. I ended up calling Clint Busenitz at Vetterman Exhaust for his take on it. He asked when I had bought the exhaust and told him it was almost exactly ten years ago. Clint said that I had the second version (there are now three) of BH 6 cylinder exhaust iterations . He had some issues with a couple of other customers, so he was familiar. There are many variations in BH builders and said that he should be able to fix it. He said just take some pics and send the exhaust in and he would take care of it. So I did. I took the pics he wanted, emailed them to him and sent off the left side headers. Let’s see what he comes up with.
