More work on the engine...good news and bad news. We installed all the pushrods and a bunch of other bits. The good news is all but two of the pushrods are useable in length. The bad news is I have the old style shroud tubes and I have to replace ALL 12 of them! The springs that hold the old style tubes in are $137 a piece and I need 12 of them! Aircraft Specialties never sent me back the old ones, so it's cheaper just to order 12 new tubes and make a smaller hole in my bank account since I have the new style retainers. There were other complications, but it would take too long to explain in this log. Suffice it to say I will be time and money ahead to order new tubes.
