My friend has been busy in his real job, fixing airplanes. So I had some tasks to finish until he could work on the engine again. I had to fit the accessory housing, sump and flow divider. The accessory housing didn't want to go. The was a very slight misalignment with the idler shafts for the accessory gears and the bosses they fit into on the cover. It was off by maybe a .001 or two, so I polished up the bosses. I went really slow, but I finally got it to fit very well and bolted it into place. Next came the sump and a few more odds and ends. I'm at the point where Jim needs to help me out again to finish the job. Hoppefully in the next couple of weeks. All in all I'm really happy with how it's turned out so far. It looks great!
