The painting took a long time. None of the bearing surfaces are allowed to have paint on them, so masking was a very tedious process. I made some templates for the cylinder holes and glued them on with rubber cement. For the bolt and nut areas I used those three-ring binder reinforcing rings and a bit of tape to cover the holes. It worked perfect! The holes were 1/4in in diameter and the outside diameter was 9/16ths....perfect fit! The inside hole allowed me to align the dot on the case and then I put a small piece of tape to cover the hole.
There is much, much more to the story, but suffice it to say it's been a journey! It's more than I have patience for to log at the moment.
